Eatmore Sprouts & Greens Ltd. is a Certified Organic Farm producing a variety of sprouts and greens on 3.75 acres near Courtenay, BC. Our sprouted products are sold to restaurants, grocery stores and wholesale distributors throughout Western Canada. Sprout products include Alfalfa, Deli, Clover, and Broccoli. Our microgreen line includes Sunflower Greens, Microgreens and Pea Shoots. Sprouts and greens are produced in an indoor growing facility and greenhouse buildings. We produce between 6,000 and 8,000 pounds of sprouts and greens weekly, year-round! Eatmore Sprouts & Greens Ltd. was established in 1975. Carmen and Glenn Wakeling, the current owners, have been involved in the company for over 35 years. Eatmore Sprouts employs 34 people who work hard every day to bring our products to you. Organic Certification is important to us as this gives you the assurance that the foods we produce are grown using practices developed to support a healthy planet.

EggSolutions Vanderpol’s is a family-owned and operated egg processor dedicated to the development and delivery of innovative, functional egg solutions to our valued customers and industry partners since 1952. Together, we’re making good better.

Emkao Foods Inc. (“Emkao”) is a startup food processing company, founded in 2016, focused on the production of single-source chocolate, cocoa butter, cocoa powder and related products. It is located in Mission, British Columbia. Emkao specializes in the chocolate industry through a vertically integrated corporate structure that leverages direct trade and single sourcing for their primary input product: cocoa beans. This structure is possible due to an ownership stake in a family farm (“Kotou Farm”) located in Cameroon, in western Africa. Emkao is able to directly import high quality, certified organic, cocoa beans from Kotou Farm with favorable payment terms. Once imported into Canada, Emkao is able to process these raw cocoa beans primarily into six marketable finished products. The current focus is to sell these products wholesale to other businesses such as chocolatiers, bakers, candy producers and related businesses.

Fernwood Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster based out of Victoria, BC. We've been roasting our finest fair trade, organic coffees since 2007. And since that time, we've moved from roasting out of the back of The Parsonage Cafe to our new designated roasting site in Victoria. We roast all of our coffee in a state-of-the-art machine that uses 90% less natural gas than most roasters in the industry. And our buying practices ensure that farmers get paid fairly and the environment is cared for where the coffee is grown. We also visit the farmers and purchase directly from some of them. The last time we visited Brazil, we spotted a maned wolf on one of the coffee farms! Something else that sets us apart, is we roast all of our coffee to order. That means when someone orders our coffee, we roast it for them the same day we ship it or deliver it. This means they get the freshest coffee possible. Our coffee is normally ordered whole bean, but we can grind it upon request. If you've been to The Parsonage Cafe, Little June, or Shirley Delicious, you've likely had our coffee, and there's a good chance it was delicious.
